The £340 full-week price includes a small discount and can still be combined with funded hours.
How funded hours work at Sankofa
Term-time places
Funded hours are normally provided over 38 weeks. Eligible children can receive their full 15 or 30 funded hours during each funded week.
All-year places
Sankofa is open for 50 weeks. Funded hours can be stretched across the year, giving families a consistent weekly childcare pattern with fewer funded hours available each week.
No compulsory top-up
Funded hours cover the core cost of childcare. Parents only pay for attendance above their funded entitlement and any optional services they choose. We offer an optional consumables package covering healthy meals, snacks and enriching resources such as art materials, cooking ingredients and sensory-play supplies. This charge is voluntary. Families who choose not to purchase the package may provide suitable alternatives in agreement with the nursery. Any applicable consumables charge will be explained clearly before your child starts and is not included in the fee calculator.
Monthly payments
Annual fees are divided into 12 equal monthly payments, providing consistent payments throughout the year.
