About the Recipe
A family favourite that’s simple, quick, and full of choice! This recipe gives children the freedom to pick toppings and explore new foods — a great way to build independence and confidence in the kitchen.

Ingredients
3 mini wholemeal pitta breads
3 tbsp tomato passata or pizza sauce
½ cup grated cheese
A selection of toppings: sweetcorn, sliced peppers, mushrooms, ham, or pineapple
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan).
Place the pitta breads on a baking tray.
Spread a spoonful of sauce onto each one.
Invite your child to sprinkle cheese and add their favourite toppings.
Bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
Cool slightly before eating.
